Chanterelle Pyrenees Kennel is nestled in the beautiful green hills of Hobart, Washington. While not the ice and snow-covered peaks of the Pyrenees mountains in Southern France, Chanterelle is nonetheless a beautiful location for raising the majestic Great Pyrenees dog breed.

Famous for centuries as a loyal, obedient guard and sentry, the Great Pyrenees is just as well known for its dignified beauty. Calm and gentle in temperament, coupled with their natural aloofness to strangers, the Great Pyrenees become very attached to their owners, and their families. Although affectionate and warm, the Great Pyrenees is inherently protective of home, property, family and flock. This protective companionship makes them ideally suited as wonderful additions to your family.

It is this characteristic that we emphasize at Chanterelle. All Chanterelle Great Pyrenees are first and foremost pets. Although many Chanterelle pets are show and breeding animals, many are placed in loving, caring families around the world.
